- The River Flute is a simple five-hole flute in "a" minor pentatonic, based on a river cane design with four directional tuning holes. It features Werner John's ceramic windway inserts to help retain its clear, slightly reedy, well-projecting tone quality in all playing situations. The flute comes with a fingering chart, hard case, and sheet of playing hints.
